Hi, How are you

Went to Austin this past weekend for my cousins graduation. It boggles my mind how quickly time passes. It feels like it was just yesterday when my cousins and I were playing haunted house or a game of hide and seek. Now we're all graduating and venturing out doing what we've been planning on doing all our college lives. I can't believe I'm about to complete my 2nd year of teaching. Only a few more days left then the countdown to my vacation(s) begin!

I decided to pack my recent purchase on this trip. Scored this French Connection dress for $30. I thought it was appropriate and perfect to wear on this hot summer day. I also recently purchased a pair of Michael Kors aviator sunglasses. It's so hard to find frames that fit my face but I thought these frames fit my face perfectly. What do you think?

HelloooOoo fellow bloggers and readers!

Oh my does it feel nice to come back and write again... My apologies for not updating and missing in action. I've been feeling very uninspired lately and don't have any juice to write.

I got a haircut many weeks ago and I've tried all I can to make it work for me but I just can't seem to make it look the way I please. Don't you just hate that?? So I partly blame my hair for the lack of picture updates.

Hmm so what else has been going on since my last update?? I've been working out a lot more. Just recently got into running again almost everyday. Trying to keep this a routine for the next few weeks because I have lots of vacations lined up for me this summer. It involves being in a bathing suit so I gotta lose as much jelly around my waist as I can before I go.

I have 3 weeks left of work before it ends and I cannot wait!!!! I have so much to do this entire month. Graduations, birthdays and on top of that, my dear friend is about to give birth to a baby girl. She's going to be due in no time. I can't wait to see her come into this world!! :)

Reminiscing....

Now that I am on my spring break, I have tons of free time to myself. Reminiscing through my old photo albums on a previous trip to San Francisco 2 years back. I definitely left my heart there and would love to go back sometime soon.  Unfortantely, I don't have a sufficient amount of funds to do so right now so I'm just sitting here wishfully dreaming I was there.

On a more positive note, I will be taking a road trip to good ol Austin, Tx. towards the end of the week. Gotta get out of Houston before work starts again. I'm highly anticipating this little getaway even though its just a few hours away from home. It's a much needed trip for me. I'm going to relax and enjoy it with my wonderful boyfriend :)

Since my last post, I vented on how bipolar Houston weather was. The weather gods must've read my blog or something because since the weekend passed, the weather has been amazingly beautiful!! It felt like Spring arrived because the sun was out to play and we even had breeze with NO humidity! I loved it. I retired my winter gear and pulled out some spring colored items from my closet.

This month's been very stessful and overwhelming for me. I took my father to the ER 2 weekends ago and found out he has gallstones in his gallbladder. He has to surgically remove his gallbladder.  Got rear ended (minor accident but the impact was hard especially since I didn't have my seatbelt on in the backseat).  ANDDD work has been extremely stressful for me. But thank goodness for Spring break because I am desperately needing some relaxation time!

Hopefully with that being said, I'll be able to post more for you guys! :)

Houston's weather has been so UGLY and BIPOLAR. It's been raining so much the past few days and has been so gloomy outside. The sun hasn't been out to play in awhile and it's either chilly one day or humid the next! I am so tired of the cold weather. I'd rather it be hot than cold. I can't wait for spring to come. I am so over the winter gear and anxious for the tank tops/shorts and sundresses to come out my closet! Anyway, pictures above are captured from my boyfriends backyard. I love his backyard because the landscaping is so cute. When the weather gets warmer, I'd really enjoy just sitting in his backyard and bask in the sun with a cup of icecream in my hand :) mmMm!

Orange you glad I posted?!?!

Boyfriend took out his camera and told me to put an outfit on so he can brush up on his photography skills. I thought of you guys and with no hesitation, I brought out my orange birthday dress I wore last year. Paired it with my favorite blazer from Gap.

So due to my lack of updates, I have been very productive and dedicating most of my time after work to yoga. I highly recommend it to those that don't enjoy running. I had an on/off moment where I really enjoyed running. I mean I can run miles and miles straight but as of late, I despise it. With all these groupon and living social deals, I've been taking total advantage on all these yoga deals! I've purchased regular yoga classes and Bikram yoga (where you're in a heated room of 108 degrees stretching and drenching yourself in sweat)

I've practiced yoga for I'd say a month already and I've noticed drastic changes in my body. I'm more toned in muscle and my waist has slimmed significantly (says my boyfriend). I still try to get some cardio in and run because I'm really trying to shed off some fat from my stomach area. Spring break is coming up so I gotta prepare myself to be in a bathing suit. I don't have plans to be in a bathing suit yet but it's just my own motivation to be more active versus taking naps after work. Which I miss and love :(

Been awhile since I've been on this. Life has been too busy that I don't think I can dedicate most of my time updating like I use too. Plus, I havent been inspired enough to want to post outfits as of lately. I hope this changes soon because I know I have a few fans out there that miss me ;) haha 

Seems like everyone around me is getting engaged or hitched or pregnant. I want to congratulate a beautiful couple, Ngoc + Jimmy on their engagement. I'm so happy for you guys! :)
