Hello all!!

These past few days have been extremely hot here in Houston. Temperature has rised to 100 degrees this entire week. It's such a challenge to find a cute outfit to wear without leaving sweat marks on your back. Talk about embarassing.

I wore this very sheer top with a black lacy bra underneath for a night filled with dancing. Paired it with a mint colored skirt I recently purchased at the new H&M here in Houston. I kept everything pretty neutral and added some silver jewelry on for the night. I stayed pretty cool the entire night and no one even knew I was glistening :)

Hello all! I just got back from a trip to Costa Rica. Beautiful place! I definitely left my heart there and already yearning my way back there next summer. There were so many things to do, fresh and tasty food to eat, nice people to meet that I can't stop dreaming of it all. This was my view from the pool of our resort my girls and I stayed at looking out at the ocean.

I will update more with pictures later. I am in the middle of getting ready for a dinner date with Kelly @paperdolltheory. Trying to play catch up before my move to Washington for the next 6 weeks.

RIP lace shorts

Had girls night out and I decided to bring out my lace shorts for a night full of dancing. I've had about 2-3 wears in it before the zipper got jammed on me. My embarassing moment for the night was that I needed to use the restroom. My zipper was jammed and I couldnt pull it up or down for the life of me. I had my girls help me. Try to imagine 4 girls holding up the restroom stalls to get my pants undone for me to pee. Girls were walking in and out staring at them trying to get my pants undone. haha I did get a lot of compliments on it though.

Well to end the story short, I couldnt get it undone. Held in my pee until I got home and wripped them to shreds to get them off of me. Poor shorts. Good thing I only got it for less than $15 or else I would've been really sad.

Neutral Frou Frou

Went to an engagement party for David's high school friend. This was my 2nd time attending a Pakistani wedding. I love how colorful and vibrant their outfits are. The entire ballroom was so bedazzled and all the ladies were dressed in beautiful saris. I would love to one day dress in one. Especially the hennas and the jewels they wear.  

Bought this dress on sale at BCBG. I love the neutral color of it and the sheer fabric. I poofed out a little bit. Made me feel like a  little girl in it :)

Easy Breezy

Went shopping over the weekend for some summer fun clothes. It was so hot out that I decided to wear a very sheer, flowy top that had a slit in the back to give me some extra air. haha. The design on the top is loud but I love it and I paired it with my magenta colored shorts I bought for $10 at Banana Republic. 

For some that may not know, I will be leaving on a trip to Costa Rica in 2 weeks with a group of girlfriends. I am so excited about it. We have all these outdoor excursions planned such as ziplining, atv, surfing lessons. However, I'm so stumped on what to pack.  I've heard that when we go, it'll be a rainy season there. With all the outdoor activities we're doing, I'm not sure if I'm suppose to pack cutesy items?? or water resistant shorts and tanks?? What do you think??

Dr. Vuu DDS

Went to my best friends Dental graduation 2 weekends ago. I am so proud of all her hard work and achievements. Although she will not be moving back home *sniff* she's going to be pursuing her career in another city. She's going to be an excellent dentist. Love her <3
